50 Cent is keeping himself booked and busy.

On Tuesday, the rapper and businessman announced his first Las Vegas residency, set for six exclusive shows at PH Live inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from Dec. 27 to Jan. 4.

According to TMZ, sources say 50 Cent secured a $15 million deal, making it one of the largest Hip-Hop residencies ever. One of the shows will feature an exclusive New Year’s Eve celebration presented by his Sire Spirits brand.

“My first Vegas residency is going to be an experience, you don’t wanna miss this!” 50 Cent shared on X.

Titled “50 Cent: In Da Club” — a nod to his iconic 2003 hit — the residency promises performances of new tracks and classic favorites, including “21 Questions,” “In Da Club,” “P.I.M.P.,” and “Candy Shop.”

“I always bring the energy, and Las Vegas is the perfect spot to create an unforgettable experience for my fans,” 50 Cent said, KSNV News 3 reported. “We’re talking big production, surprises, and the ultimate New Year’s Eve party for my Vegas residency.”

News of 50 Cent’s Vegas residency comes just over a week after the season finale of his hit Starz series, “Power Book II: Ghost.” With a heavy focus on film and television ventures, he previously expressed concerns about committing to a residency in a September interview with Haute Living, citing his numerous film projects.

50 Cent said, “How much of a residency can I commit to when I have multiple film projects coming? Not just the television stuff, but opportunities for me to star in feature films, too. I’m having success in film; my career in television mirrors my music career.”

He noted that with “Power” being the largest show on the network at the time, making it the No. 1 program in African American and Latino households, he “seriously” had to balance and schedule his commitments.

However, after hearing that many Las Vegas residencies are spaced out over months, he switched gears, saying, “That would actually be fun; that would work for me to do it that way.”

As AFROTECH™ noted, 50 Cent has achieved remarkable success in entertainment as the co-creator and executive producer of the “Power” franchise, which has developed three spinoffs and contributed to his $40 million fortune, Celebrity Net Worth estimates. While speaking on stage at Invest Fest in Atlanta, GA, in August 2024, he shared an unwritten business principle he lives by.

“One of the unwritten laws of business is to not appear to need anything,” 50 Cent said, AFROTECH™ previously reported. “Because everybody will do you a favor when you don’t need one. If they can expect a bigger favor in return or a favor from you at some later point, they’ll find the ability to just do it.”

He elaborated, adding, “That’s why when they tell me no, I go — if television say[s] they [are] going on strike, I say, ‘Okay, I’m on tour.’ That last tour [the Final Lap Tour], I did 103 shows. It’s the third-highest-grossing Hip-Hop tour ever.”

According to Live Nation Entertainment, “The Final Lap Tour” kicked off last July in Salt Lake City, UT, and concluded in November in England. With 1.05 million tickets sold, Billboard Boxscore reported that the 29-country tour made 50 Cent the second rapper in history to surpass $100 million in tour earnings, trailing only behind Drake.

In addition to his music and television ventures, 50 Cent’s Sire Spirits has secured multi-year partnerships with various professional sports teams such as the NBA’s Sacramento Kings and Houston Rockets, as well as deals with the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights and the NFL’s New Orleans Saints, AFROTECH™ reported.

He has also opened a studio in Shreveport, LA, reportedly the second-largest Black-owned studio after Tyler Perry Studios, and made $100 million from Vitaminwater by strategically acquiring employee stock options to enhance his equity.
