Returning Oct. 27-31, 2025, to the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, TX, for its second year, the conferences promises to deliver endless networking opportunities at what has become the largest gathering for Black professionals, entrepreneurs, and disruptors in technology.

The Launch Of A New Bank That Would Provide Financial Capital To Underserved Farmers Has Been Paused By USDA

The efforts of a financial institution created to fund underserved farmers is being put on pause. According to a news release, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced in October 2024 the launch of the Southern Farmers Financial Association (SFFA), a bank that would make it easier for underserved farmers to access funding. Disney shareholders have rejected a proposal that would require it to withdraw from a corporate equality index.
