Foot Locker is the latest company to join in the Black History Month celebration. In a press release announcement, it was revealed that the sneaker giant has released its inaugural “Sole List,” which seeks to honor modern Black innovators of sneaker culture . Honorees include celebrity stylist Dex Robinson, photographer Nikki Boute, and Kicks 4 Kids Foundation founder Che’Keita Jones. “We recognize that Black culture plays a pivotal role in shaping sneaker culture — the foundation of our business at Foot Locker,” said Jason Brown, Vice President of Marketing for Foot Locker North America, in the press release statement . “We aim to continue driving meaningful and lasting change across our company and within the communities we serve.” The company will be promoting all of the Sole List honorees across their social channels throughout the month.
