Tennis-legend Serena Williams is adding another notch to her business belt as the newest board member for Poshmark, the popular online clothing company.
“I felt like I was already a part of the brand, ” Williams said in a video posted on the Poshmark’s YouTube channel.
Along with her new position, Williams is selling her clothes through the platform to her non-profit Yetunde Price Resource Center, which serves emotional and physical trauma victims throughout Compton and surrounding areas. Items are selling like hot cakes and available garments range from $400 to $1500.
Poshmark is Williams’ latest move in the world of business. Last year, she announced that she would serve on SurkeyMonkey’s board of directors. The company filed for IPO late Septemeber. Williams has also invested in photo-sharing app Mobli, e-commerce startup Mayvenn and food delivery service Daily Harvest.
