They say everything is bigger in Texas, and for the Houston Hottie Megan Thee Stallion, she’s bossing up and letting the world know that phrase applies to her pockets.

The Texas Southern University graduate recently released her latest album, “Traumazine,” and reportedly dropped a smooth $250,000 for a feature from Future to make one of the songs come to life the way she envisioned it.

Going After The Missing Piece

Recently, Megan sat with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk of Los Angeles’ Power 106 to discuss the process and inspiration behind her second studio album. During the conversation, she described her personal attachment to this work, noting past traumas and the grief of her mother’s passing as themes.

The young femcee also dropped a lyrically riveting freestyle to the beat of Warren G and Nate Dogg’s classic, “Regulate.” While her freestyle doubled down her position as a lyricist in the rap game, it was a revelation she shared about her own music that was impressive.

The album “Traumazine” features a pre-released single, “Pressurelicious.” Megan admits the song was complete but thought it could be elevated if Atlanta rapper Future were on the track. However, as a woman in the industry, she wondered how the request for a Future feature would go over.

Nevertheless, she persisted and asked her team to determine the “March Madness” rapper’s asking price for a featured verse. Her team returned with a $250,000 price tag, and Megan did not flinch at the number.

“I was like, okay, bet. Somebody go pull $250,000 out the bank and go drop it off to Future. And, tell him I need the verse before he leave,” Megan Thee Stallion said about the moment.

Meg Thee Boss

The two were apparently in Miami, FL, at the same time, and Meg didn’t want Mr. Hendrix to leave without her verse.

Giving her team the task — they began to figure out how to get the money to Future. Needless to say, they figured it out, and the money was dropped off to Future in a backpack, according to Megan.

And just like that, a quick six-figure boss move guaranteed her a verse from Future.
