The Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) is officially taking its talents to Atlanta, GA, in a new partnership with renowned Hip-Hop photographer and entrepreneur Cam Kirk.

According to a press release shared with AFROTECH, the luxury streetwear brand, which was created by Pharrell Williams, will join forces with Cam Kirk Studios for an all-new creator’s lab.

 

The relationship between Kirk and BBC dates back to the beginning of his career as a photographer.

Over the years, the fashion company has partnered with Kirk for previous brand content ventures. Now, they will officially work together to inspire the current and next generation of Atlanta creatives.

A Dream Come True

“To see my relationship with Billionaire Boys Club materialize into a Creators Lab at my studio is a dream come true,” said Kirk in an official statement. “Cam Kirk Studios has always been a place to support creators and build community in Atlanta, and this partnership bolsters our commitment to fulfill that mission.”

Cam Kirk Studios was launched in 2017 to serve as a safe space for photographers and creatives to not only bring their projects to fruition, but also sharpen their creative skills through workshops and various events that allow people to expand their network and skills.

To date, the studio space brings in more than 500 bookings a month, according to the press release.

On the other hand, BBC ICECREAM is the dreamchild of creative superstar Pharrell Williams, Nigo, and Rob Walker. Since its 2003 inception, the company has gone on to become a forerunner in the luxury streetwear space.

 

The Partnership

The official collaboration between Cam Kirk Studios and BBC will start with a Pinterest Creator Residency from Oct. 11-13.

The experiences to follow will include monthly night school weekend classes, Club Talks that will highlight Atlanta-based creatives as well as E-Sports and gaming competitions, plus many more.

The Billionaire Boys Club Creator’s Lab will be open for public use starting Oct. 14. However, creators can begin to book space and schedule time at the lab starting Oct. 2.
