Twitter is set to launch its very own primetime shopping show!

According to TechCrunch, the social media app will test out its live shopping format for the first time ever featuring products from Walmart with host, Jason Derulo. Customers will have the chance to watch the livestream while simultaneously checking out any products as they are mentioned.

Set to launch just ahead of Cyber Week, Twitter’s first-ever shoppable livestream is an effort to continue to expand its e-commerce initiatives. It will also further Walmart’s commitment to live shopping events via social media platforms, which also include TikTok and YouTube.

“On November 28, Walmart will kick off a Cyber Deals live event on Twitter, where users will be able to watch a live broadcast, shop the featured products, and join the conversation around the event by posting tweets,” TechCrunch reports.

Hosted by musician-turned-creator, Jason Derulo, the event will include him introducing the audience to deals in apparel, electronics, home goods, seasonal décor, and more during the 30-minute variety show. Walmart has also revealed that a few special guests will drop in during the live event.

Retail giant Walmart has upped its support for livestream shopping throughout the entire year of 2021. It also hosted its first shoppable livestream via TikTok last December for the social media platform’s Holiday Shop-Along Spectacular event.

At the time, Walmart shared the massive success of the live event after it garnered more views than it had originally anticipated. The move also helped the company increase its TikTok follower base by 25 percent. And, while the sales revenue that the event generated were not disclosed, Walmart ran its second TikTok livestream shopping event just shortly after.

If you want, you can tune in on Sunday, Nov. 28th at 7 p.m. EST for Twitter’s live shopping event with Jason Derulo and Walmart.
