If you’re a sneakerhead, you might want to listen up for this one.

According to a press release, one of the oldest and most successful e-commerce websites known on the Internet has just launched a flagship store in Los Angeles that rewards avid sneaker wearers for sporting their kicks.

As one of the places to go when on the hunt for both new and pre-owned sneakers, eBay now wants to reward people who not only purchase shoes from their new store but for leaving out with them on their feet.

For the forthcoming holiday, the Wear ‘Em Out store will become home to some of the most exclusive, top-notch sneakers available to sneaker lovers outside of eBay’s normal online platform.

“Most people can identify with that feeling of getting a new pair of shoes that you love so much, you just HAVE to wear them out of the store,” said Garry Thaniel, GM of Sneakers at eBay. “The Wear ‘Em Out Store celebrates a love of sneakers while acknowledging that sneakerheads are often balancing what they wear with what they keep in the box. eBay is the place to find every style and every price, and now we’re offering an incentive to lace up the most coveted sneakers of the summer.”

This weekend attendees of Sneaker Con Anaheim will get a sneak peek at the store, which will feature several shoes, including the Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner and the Jordan 1 Retro High OG Patent Bred on May 21 and May 22.

Calling All Trendsetters

People who collect and cherish sneakers are some of the most stylish people on the planet. From knowing certain models to pairing them with the most fly fits, it’s only right that eBay has tapped one of the best-dressed emcees in the game to help curate the offerings of the new store.

“eBay is my go-to place to find the kicks you can’t find anywhere else,” said Offset. “For sneaker collectors like me who lay awake at night trying to decide if you’re going to wear your new kicks, eBay’s Wear ‘Em Out Store makes light of something that haunts the entire sneaker community and gives people a new way to access the shoes they want for summer.”

How It Works

Shoppers at the Wear ‘Em Out Store will receive up to 70 percent off of some of the culture’s hottest kicks, but for those who wear their shoes out of the door, the price will be even lower.

The new store will officially open its doors on May 27.
