TRiBL is a social networking platform on a mission to unite the diaspora. Beginning at the end of this month, TRiBL will rebrand its mobile application to include Pan-African commerce providing greater opportunities to circulate wealth within the Black community. With partnerships from Visa and cryptocurrency firms Circle Internet Financial & Paxos Brokerage, the company will soft launch digital wallets for users to access within the application to monetize approved group chats. Cryptocurrencies will provide Black creators and influencers an opportunity to gain income from fiat rates and greater visibility for fundraising opportunities.

To combat unlawful traffic stops and other emergencies, activist Mbye Njie founded Legal Equalizer , a mobile app that allows users to record encounters with police officers, immigration officers, or active shooters. Once a user downloads the app, they can connect Legal Equalizer to a Zoom account, which automatically begins to capture the interaction once prompted. Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, and Apple Music have launched programs to better serve the artists who release music on their platforms. Now, Amazon Music is doing the same by giving artists easy access to their metrics. On Friday (Mar. 13), the music streaming platform launched “Amazon Music For Artists,” a mobile app that allows artists and their teams to understand their business, reports Variety . Artists can instantly know how Amazon’s 55 million customers engage with their music. The newly-launched app shows streaming performance data into an artist’s audience. Additionally, artists can also tap into the companion website that shows best practices and other resources to help artists navigate success.
