Hebru Brantley Taps Into The Creativity Of Local Harlem Children To Help LEGO Celebrate 90 Years Of Play

There’s no imagination like that of a child, and the LEGO Group is bringing that to the world of art through its latest Fly Away Isles installation. The LEGO Group is teaming up with visionary artist Hebru Brantley for the new immersive play installation that will be housed in the heart of West Harlem. Local children involved with The Brotherhood Sister Sol (BroSis) nonprofit youth development organization were invited to share their ideas surrounding community play by building their own world using medium LEGO® bricks.

Syreeta Gates Breaks Barriers As The First Black Woman To Appear On FOX's 'LEGO Masters'

Syreeta Gates strikes again! According to Because of Them We Can (BOTWC), the hip-hop archivist will make history as the first Black woman to appear on FOX’s “LEGO Masters.” An art collector, creative, and owner of The Gates Preserve, Gates uses her work to archive hip-hop culture and content for brands, content creators, public figures and creates live experiences and campaigns pushing hip-hop culture forward. Gates is also the co-founder of Most Incredible Studio, a creative studio that creates hip-hop-inspired LEGO art. The Queens, New York native is working alongside digital designer and LEGO enthusiast Randall Wilson to merge their love of hip-hop and LEGO to create innovative art pieces whose inspiration is drawn from groups like A Tribe Called Quest, Run DMC, and N.W.A. 12-Year-Old Rapper Lil Bit Saucy Makes History As LEGO's First-Ever Kid Creative Director

Robyn, better known as Lil Bit Saucy, is all about creativity and it shows through her newly-appointed content creation role. The 12-year-old rapper and rising star has been hired as the first-ever Kid Creative Director for LEGO Group, where she will join nine other young creatives through the company’s Kids Creative Studio. Both Robyn and LEGO, through its Untitled by TLNT Instagram page , shared the groundbreaking news on social media to announce what’s to come from the new venture. “We’re so excited to finally introduce the first-ever Kid Creative Director for @lego Kids Creative Studio (inspired by LEGO® VIDIYO™),” the company wrote online. “Congratulations to Robyn and thank you to everyone who submitted to the creative brief.
