In the midst of a career high, Shaboozey is optimistic about the future of music, which includes AI. He sees it as a helpful tool for organization and is open to embracing its use to enhance his artistry.
“It’s a pretty interesting tool when utilized in a way that can help people,” he explained to Forbes. “I don’t support replacing people… It’s just different things to figure out. Even if it’s just organization systems and just helping certain things. Sometimes you even use it to like figuring out like the keys of which songs work and stuff like that.”
He added, “I might be the first to say ‘I support AI.’ It‘s something that’s coming. It’s something that people can get ahead of and just figure out how to just help you do your craft better… With reference vocals, you can take someone’s vocals and reference and figure out like ‘Oh this person fits in this song’ or just so many different ways you can use that. You asked me the future of music, I’m just telling you.”
