Megan Thee Stallion is already dominating the music industry, so it’s only right she takes her talents to one of the next most profitable industries in the world.

In an effort to fully immerse her fans in the digital space, the Grammy-winning rapper has teamed up with VR company AmazeVR to create a one-of-a-kind virtual reality theatrical experience that will debut in theaters worldwide early 2022, per a press release.

“Creativity is limitless in the world of virtual reality, which means the concepts and ideas I have can also be limitless,” Megan said in a statement. ”I am so excited to work with AmazeVR to take my wild ideas and make them into a virtual reality for all my fans to see. Get ready!”

Megan’s influence as a music artist has broken barriers for Black women like herself through multiple Grammy wins, BET Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and so much more. Beyond that, she’s also proven herself to be a well-respected figure in the culture after being named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2020 and the first female rapper to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Her talents know no bounds, so we have a feeling she will be able to break barriers in the tech space as well.

“Megan Thee Stallion is a true artist,” AmazeVR co-CEO Ernest Lee said in a statement. “We are putting together a show unlike anything that’s been done before. It will be an epic, yet personal, performance that allows anyone to feel like they are right there with Megan for a shared experience.”

The forthcoming immersive experience — which will be overseen and designed jointly with Creative Director Lewis James and Megan’s team — will feature an online and offline rollout with theatrical releases in select locations. It will also present with haptic motion chairs and a music metaverse service that will be made available to the public through at-home VR headsets.

AmazeVR is building out a pipeline of top artists — Megan Thee Stallion included — and plans to expand with a number of other high profile experiences and distribution partnerships set to be announced in the coming months.

Megan has been foraying into the tech industry most recently by way of her partnership with CashApp that has introduced her to cryptocurrency. After teaming up with the mobile payment app, she launched an educational video series where she’s now teaching her fans about stock, investing and Bitcoin.
