You can count on Master P for two things: putting out hit songs that you can’t stop singing, and staying with a check in his hand.
We’ve certainly done our fair share of coverage about the No Limit boss. He’s the first Black owner of a super-car company. He’s been working to close a $2.4 billion deal with Reebok alongside Baron Davis. He’s even planning on owning an Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in the near future.
Perhaps the best thing about Master P is his willingness to spread the wealth with his children, too. Romeo Miller is frequently involved in his father’s business deals. And just recently, AfroTech reported that Hercy Miller also secured his $2 million bag.
With all these endorsement deals, investments, and business moves, the question begs itself: how much is the rap mogul worth in 2021 and beyond?
Master P Net Worth 2021: A Whopping $200 Million
While not a billionaire like Yeezy and Dr. Dre, Master P is still worth a very handsome sum of $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Keep in mind that sometimes, “net worth” only refers to “available liquidity” and not the actual value of investments and other businesses.
That’s not bad for someone who started No Limit Records with a $10,000 inheritance! One thing you have to give the senior Miller credit for — he grew a record store and a dream into a multi-generational empire. #BlackWealth for the win!
But believe it or not, most of No Limit’s money doesn’t come from music. It didn’t even mostly come from music in the 1990s, though the sales were certainly respectable for the time. Rather, No Limit’s money comes from its multimedia investments, including several rap labels, a clothing line, a management company, a high-end travel agency, a film production company, a video game company, and even a phone sex line.
Beyond No Limit, however, Miller has his money in properties, cash, and other investments. While many other rappers inflate their net worth for Forbes and flexing, Miller really has the money he raps about.
And how do we know?
Because when his longtime wife, Sonya, filed for divorce in 2014, she was seeking 40 percent of his assets. And according to her claims, Master P owned 31 properties around the country, 13 cars, and 45 lucrative companies. She also claimed he was worth $136 million per the company’s own audit and that Master P himself was worth $350 million at the peak of his empire.
Ultimately, the two settled their divorce for an undisclosed sum.
