Antwain Fowler’s legacy continues!
After taking the social media world by storm with his classic catchphrase, “Where We About To Eat At?” — users fell in love with Fowler and looked forward to his mother sharing more clips of his charismatic personality.
According to Christina Burns — Fowler’s mother — shortly after birth, he was diagnosed with Auto-immune Enteropathy and sadly passed away due to the illness on Nov. 21.
Now, TMZ reports that she has a mission to keep his memory alive with plans of launching a restaurant in honor of the late viral sensation’s catchphrase.
Burns shared that while she once considered the restaurant a dream following the family’s original viral moment, as a mother of three, she just could not find the time to do so.
From Dream To Reality
Back in March, Burns created a GoFundMe account with the hopes of raising funds to pay for treatments that would help Fowler regain muscle mass. The original $50,000 that was needed for his treatments, will still be used to cover the medical bills that added up throughout his life.
“The first four years of Antwain’s life was an everlasting fight and very crucial experience for his family,” Burns wrote in her GoFundMe intro. “Through unlimited prayers, faith, and doctors working around the clock, Antwain is progressively healing; and truly grateful for all that he’s accomplished thus far.”
Since his passing, the site has garnered $22,000 in donations from fans bringing the total collected to $72,000. Burns will use the funds to invest in the restaurant in honor of her late son.
Keeping His Legacy Alive
Antwain Fowler touched the lives of many across such a short span of time. Now his mother and family will keep his spirit alive at the restaurant, which will include a menu with items named after a lot of the funny food-related catchphrases like “You Got Cheese Like Me,” mozzarella sticks, that he shared with fans through his YouTube and Instagram videos.
