Former NFL player and Super Bowl champion Vernon Davis is a super fan of JAXJOX. Now, he’s also serving as an investor and brand partner.

According to a press release sent to AfroTech, Davis has been an avid user of the connected fitness technology since it first hit the market in 2016. The football veteran credits JAXJOX’s free weight equipment and its artificial intelligence (AI) technology for producing a well-rounded training routine. Davis also took advantage of the company’s Interactive Studio, which boasts a compact smart home gym integrating 142 pounds of connected free weight equipment, AI-enabled performance tracking, and interactive live and on-demand coaching to facilitate personalized workouts.

”I am investing my talents and resources in JAXJOX because I believe free-weight training is one of the most versatile and effective ways to work out,” said Davis, according to a press release. “JAXJOX reimagined traditional weights to maximize at-home workouts.”

Davis Will Host Q&A's And Share His Fitness Journey With JAXJOX Community

Stemming from Davis’ positive experience working with the brand, investing in the company appeared to be the best step forward. Davis’ involvement with JAXJOX will lead to new workouts, live Q&A’s, and he will also get candid about his fitness journey with the JAXJOX community.

“JAXJOX’s connected workouts provide everything I love about weight training with the added bonus of smart technology that measures my performance in real-time,” said Davis. “The progress tracking provides insights into my strength progression and power exertion. I look forward to assisting JAXJOX in establishing a pivotal role in personalized fitness programming and optimization.”

Michael Duane Johnson Joins JAXJOX Advisory Board

What’s more, Davis is not the only prominent sports figure to become more involved with JAXJOX as four-time Olympic gold medal winner Michael Duane Johnson recently accepted a position on its advisory board in May.

“JAXJOX saw a 130% increase in sales last year and continues to see growth this year. The addition of Vernon Davis further strengthens our expansion plans,” said Stephen Owusu, JAXJOX CEO, according to a press release. “We are honored to have him join our team and look forward to his support in raising our visibility while helping us bring the best connected fitness experience to homes.”
