Boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather will reportedly make a return to the ring in the spring of 2022, and new technologies are expected to keep the thrill alive.
According to a press release, the announcement was made during a press conference in Dubai by Frontrow TMT, Undisputed, and Mayweather Promotions on Dec. 31, 3021
“Dubai is one of my favorite cities and Burj Al Arab is famous like the Statue of Liberty is for New York and you know me, I’m gonna put on a show anywhere. Money May all day now streaming from the helipad. They can’t be me, they just imitate me,” Floyd Mayweather said in a press release.
Not only will fans be able to enjoy a highly anticipated match, but new technologies will be used to heighten the atmosphere. According to a press release, live augmented reality projections of the match will be displayed on the Burj Al Arab tower for onlookers. The match will also mark a first featuring an “undisclosed first-ever blockchain NFT integration of the event.”

Floyd Mayweather Taps NFT Marketplace While In Dubai
While in Dubai, Floyd Mayweather was keeping busy hinting at new plans to level up in the new year which include exhibitions, businesses, events, and the backing of NFT marketplace BXMI NFT.
Floyd Mayweather dropped a major hint toward the end of 2021 for users to be on standby for a “crazy NFT.” The boxing champion took to Twitter to share an update revealing a replica of his WBC belt to promote BXMI NFT.
