LeBron James may seem to have it all figured out as a father, one of basketball’s greatest players, and a prominent entrepreneur. However, even he understands his story is far from finished.
James and LIFEWTR have launched the “More to Life” campaign to encourage others to pursue their next chapter.
As AfroTech previously told you, the star athlete inked a multi-year partnership with the premium water brand in 2022 as he was aligned with its mission to help people flourish. The partnership provides James with new ways to support underrepresented communities.
According to a press release, their latest collaboration will award grants to individuals and communities to help them revitalize their passion, purpose, and talent, among others, bolstered by a $100,000 commitment. The funding will first be allocated to students attending James’ I PROMISE School.
“This partnership with LIFEWTR is about celebrating community, purpose and creativity, so it’s exciting to see those values come to life in this campaign,” said James in a press statement. “The ‘more’ in my life is what drives me – my family, uplifting my community, and tapping into those things that bring you joy – all while supporting and inspiring others to do, and be, more along the way.”
