Just when we thought the days of OnlyFans was over, rapper Tyga has come up with a solution to still get content creators paid on a new platform.
Following the news of OnlyFans’ rebrand to ban adult entertainment content on its platform, the former Young Money artist has announced the launch of an alternative called Myystar — which will support content creators who wish to create whatever kind of content they’d like, explicit or not, without pushback.
According to the rapper’s latest Instagram post, he has since deleted his OnlyFans account to get behind his own movement.
“Just deleted my Onlyfans, starting my own platform @myystar8 more futuristic , better quality & only 10% fee,” he wrote. “Creators will also be able to make content of their choice!”
Tyga then encouraged users to apply to get invites to the platform.

Rise To OnlyFans Fame
Prior to leaving OnlyFans, Tyga was the fourth top earner, according to Influencer Marketing Hub via a report from Forbes, reportedly earning roughly $8 million behind other top users like Cardi B, Blac Chyna and actress Bella Thorne.
The outlet also shares that during his time on the platform, Tyga was also able to launch his own OnlyFans talent management company called TooRaww. With that roster, he hopes to recruit more talent to join his platform and experiment with them on an invite-only basis.
The Future Of Fruitful Content Creation
Myystar — which currently has over 82,000 followers on Instagram — is calling itself “the future of paid content” that’s “empowering creators on the new wave.” Forbes reports that the new wave for the subscription-based service will allow “sexually explicit videos for sex workers and celebrities” to live on its platform. Additionally, it will also house content from podcasters, comedians, athletes and musicians alike, as well as allow creators to sell their own non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
While OnlyFans’ recent decision was brought on by “pressure from banking partners and payout providers,” Tyga claims that Myystar will be better for content creators this time around as it will only take a 10 percent cut from their earnings, which is half of OnlyFans’ cut.
“I know how many people make a lot of money on OnlyFans, and that’s where most of their revenue is at,” Tyga tells Forbes. “I want to give those people hope.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a public figure or company introduce something to rival that of its competition, but Tyga hopes to see his platform far surpass the success that OnlyFans has seen over the last year.
Myystar is set to debut in October.
