NBA's Steph Curry Sets Out To Close The Racial Wealth Gap With Nonprofit NinetyToZero

Steph Curry has plans to help close the racial wealth gap. The NBA superstar will join forces with the nonprofit NinetyToZero in an effort to close the wealth gap that is currently plaguing America. According to NinetyToZero, closing the racial wealth gap could increase the economic growth of the U.S. by $1.5 trillion over the next decade. They also report that Duke University research revealed that the wealth gap between Black and white Americans is between $11 trillion and $13.5 trillion. “Uncovering solutions and creating opportunities is something I’m profoundly committed to,” said Curry in an official press release. “Bridging the racial wealth gap is one of the biggest challenges of our generation. The Washington Football team made a historic announcement this morning as the NFL team hired former running back Jason Wright as its new president, making him the youngest and first Black president of an NFL team, according to Bleacher Report .
