Ghalee Wadood Jr., A Player In Snoop Dogg’s Youth Football League, Inks Six-Figure NIL Deal At Age 9

A young athlete has secured a check for his talent before turning double digits. Ghalee Wadood Jr., a 9-year-old who plays for Snoop Dogg’s Youth Football League, inked a six-figure name, image, and likeness (NIL) deal with sports agency Family 4 Life — making him the youngest from the youth league to sign a contract — according to Los Angeles, CA-based KTLA-5, an affiliate of The CW Network. In addition to signing Wadood Jr., Family 4 Life represents NFL players from the New England Patriots, the San Francisco 49ers, and the New York Giants.

Xbox continues its commitment to inclusive storytelling that supports Black gamers and culture creators like the “ICY GRL” herself, Saweetie! On Feb. 4, the gaming company announced its partnership with artist and entrepreneur, Saweetie, for the first-ever “Xbox Saweetie Bowl” gaming competition just ahead of Super Bowl Sunday. “Football is big in my family and this year’s festivities bring all of us together in support of a good cause,” said the “My Type” rapper. Last weekend, Saweetie served as the evening host and commentator at Snoop Dogg’s Inglewood gaming compound.
