Bun B's Trill Burger Crowned As The Best Burger In America About A Year After After Entering The Restaurant Industry

Southern rapper Bun B now has bragging rights that extend even beyond the music industry. As AfroTech previously told you in July 2021, Bun B ventured into the restaurant business to open Trill Burgers, a pop-up hamburger shop in his home city of Houston, TX. Now, it’s been named the best burger in America. The restaurant’s OG Trill Burger caught the attention of the judges on Good Morning America’s “United States of Burgers” competition. The staple menu item is made from 44 Farms beef, Trill Sauce, pickles, caramelized onions, and a Martin’s potato bun.

13-Year-Old Phoenix Brown Awarded $10K For Mowing Lawns For Elderly, Veterans, And Disabled

A teen from Chesapeake, VA is helping his community one lawn at a time. In 2020, 13-year-old Phoenix Brown partook in the 50-yard challenge, Good Morning America reports. The cause is through Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service created by Rodney Smith. The challenge encourages boys and girls between the ages of seven and 17 to cut 50 lawns of grass for the elderly, disabled, single parents, veterans, and those in need without cost. “This program really has helped him to build confidence,” Phoenix’s mother Joycelene Tetteh said, according to WAVY news. “I think it has helped with his communication skills, his ability to network; all of those things matter in life.” Phoenix Brown originally had plans to build a computer last summer but after his father, Sheldon Brown, presented the challenge to him, he switched gears to help out his community. Michael Strahan Makes History As The First American Journalist To Travel To Space

The latest Blue Origin flight for New Shepard made history not just for Jeff Bezos’ rocket company, but also for “Good Morning America” (“GMA”) co-host Michael Strahan. AfroTech previously shared that the launch was the first time a Blue Origin flight was set to operate at full capacity with six passengers. After the launch on Dec. 11 — delayed by two days due to inclement weather — Strahan became the first American journalist to travel to space, according to CNN.

TV Host Michael Strahan Is Going To Space On Jeff Bezos' Third Historic Blue Origin Flight

TV host Michael Strahan is going from live on-air to live in space. On Nov. 23, Strahan announced on “Good Morning America” that he will be one of six passengers to board Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space flight that is scheduled for Dec. 9. This high school teacher goes above and beyond for his students! According to Good Morning America (GMA), Jonte Lee is a chemistry and physics teacher at Calvin Coolidge High School located in Washington, D.C. who has completely transformed his home kitchen into a chemistry lab to effectively conduct experiments virtually for his students during the pandemic. “The reason why I turned my kitchen into a chemistry lab is for the love of my students,” said Lee in an interview on GMA.
