10 Entertainers Who Have Secured Mind-Blowing Endorsement Deals

If you’re a rapper and you’re looking to secure the bag, endorsement deals are the way to go. But believe it or not, the concept of rappers getting endorsement deals is nowhere near a new concept. According to High Snobiety, the rappers of today can thank a legendary Hip-Hop group for securing the first-ever product endorsement deal in the rap industry, which kicked off the trend that’s still going strong today. “You’ll likely recall Run DMC’s third studio album, “Raising Hell,” which thrust the group into the American mainstream and forever linked the genre to their iconic style and affinity for the Three Stripes,” they said. “When the album was released in 1986, one track particularly stood out: “My Adidas.” The song was more than just a powerful co-sign — it would soon become the catalyst for rap’s first endorsement deal, setting the stage for a generation of new artists to follow suit.” Run-DMC may have been just the first of many rappers to secure the bag with endorsement deals...

Shaquille O'Neal To Sell His Minority Ownership Stake In NBA Team Worth Nearly $1.9B

Shaquille O’Neal may be giving up his NBA team ownership now, but he’s gaining something else in return with his new endorsement deal. According to Clutch Points, the former Los Angeles Lakers player has inked a new deal to become a brand ambassador for premier mobile sports betting app WynnBET that will make him the new face of the brand. As part of his new exclusive partnership, O’Neal is required to sell his minority stake in the Sacramento Kings — which equals out to roughly 2-4% of an NBA team that’s now valued at $1.9 billion (What’s interesting is that the team was reportedly valued at $534 million at the time he became partial owner). However, the idea of this new partnership is to help bolster WynnBET’s profile with the support of a major sports figure. NEWS: Shaq has been named a brand ambassador for @WynnBET and will be the face of advertising campaigns across TV, digital, and print. To comply with NBA rules, Shaq will have to sell his minority stake in the Sacramento...

Master P Lands $2.5M Endorsement Deal For His Son To Become The Highest Paid College Basketball Player

If I got the hook up was a person, no doubt it’d be Master P. In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, the rap mogul revealed that he was able to secure a $2.5 million endorsement deal for his son, Hercy Miller, in a contract that would make him the highest paid college basketball player in the nation. However, considering the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) rules against allowing student-athletes to be paid for their name, image or likeness, Miller will have to wait until this summer for that to change in order to reap the benefits of his new deal. “In August, the league is changing, the NCAA. You’ll be able to make money off your likeness [and] you’ll be able to do marketing deals,” Master P tells TMZ Sports. “I told Hercy he’ll probably be the highest paid college player in college basketball history if he do this deal. Guys that are going to the G League, they’re not even getting that type of money.” According to REVOLT, last November the NCAA announced a series...
