Snoop Dogg is back at it again! The rap star and business mogul is joining a billion-dollar game franchise. Over the weekend, Call of Duty teased new content to its loyal fanbase and Snoop Dogg was clearly in the mix. The post included two dog tags, which revealed fans should be on the lookout for the collaborative project on Call of Duty: Vanguard and free-to-play battle royale Call Of Duty: Warzone. This also would not mark Snoop Dogg’s first time working with the gaming franchise as he reportedly previously narrated for the Call of Duty: Ghosts add-on content back in 2014. “Recovered these Dogg Tags in battle. Exclusive: Chiké Okonkwo Talks Becoming Call Of Duty's First Black Character With A Storyline

To no surprise, the Black community has secured yet another victory and this time, it’s in the gaming industry. In case you missed it, popular gaming franchise Call of Duty recently launched its 18th installment featuring British actor Chiké Okonkwo as the lead character, Arthur Kingsley. It was a historic launch as the role made him the first Black character to have a campaign storyline. Activision and Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Vanguard — which hit the market on Nov. 5, 2021 — is inspired by British paratrooper Sergeant Sidney Cornell, the first Black British soldier to land on D-Day.  Chiké Okonkwo’s role as Kingsley leads him into Operation Tonga before later joining a special operation task force callsign Vanguard to fight in World War II and bring victory for the Allied powers.
