There is no limit to Snoop Dogg’s business ventures, and his collaboration with Gracie’s Corner is proof!
According to a press release shared with AfroTech, the rapper will partner with the popular kids’ animated YouTube cha through his Doggyland imprint to uplift and inspire children across the world.
The Collaboration
Together they will produce a collection of videos to empower children led by Graceyn “Gracie” Hollingsworth — the inspiration behind Gracie’s Corner — and the Bow Wizzle character who is voiced by none other than the West Coast mogul.
“I’m excited to partner with the amazing Graceyn, who has paved the way in fun and educational programming,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement. “There was a natural synergy with Doggyland and Gracie’s Corner because we both want the world to learn in a new, fresh way, and ultimately our programming aims to empower future generations. We can’t wait for the world to check this special collab out. This is just the beginning… Shine bright young stars.”
The collaboration, which marks the first between Gracie’s Corner and Doggyland, will feature videos teaching children basic fundamentals through song, rap, and dance.
“It was such a fun project. How cool is it that I worked on a project with a musical icon? Wow,” Gracie Hollingsworth said.
Empowering The Youth
While the empowerment of children continues to be the No. 1 goal for Gracie’s Corner, the creative partnership features two different animated videos under the “Girl Power” title track, which encourages girls to believe in their magic and power.
“Gracie’s Corner and Doggyland joining forces for inspiring content and an empowering anthem, ‘Girl Power,’ is a dream come true,” said Dr. Javoris Hollingsworth, Gracie’s dad and the show’s executive producer and co-creator. “When we formed Gracie’s Corner three years ago, we wanted to reimagine children’s programming to be reflective of the conversations we have in our home about daily rituals, education, and values. Partnering with Doggyland is an extension of our core mission of inclusion. It is our hope for all children to see themselves fully celebrated in animation and empowered to move through the world with confidence.”
Where Can I Watch?
A 2D version of the project will appear on the Gracie’s Corner channel, and the 3D version will be housed on the Doggyland channel.
Together this is a momentous occasion for both Doggyland and Gracie’s Corner to provide positive vibes and empowerment to a broad audience as the platforms have a collective combined reach of more than 200 million viewers.
