After hosting a successful cooking show in 2016, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg became the best of friends. As their friendship continues to blossom, so do the partnerships they’ve landed over the years.

According to Forbes, the latest from the pair are Best Buds Bags, thanks to a joint venture with BIC EZ Reach Lighters.

During an interview with the outlet, Stewart recalled some lessons she learned from the rapper-turned-entrepreneur.

“As I reflect on my recent collaboration with Snoop, I realize I learn so much from him every time we work together,” said Stewart, per Forbes. “He’s taught me about music and business and always gives me a fresh perspective. We both help each other in that way.”

She added, “He’s a great friend and business partner who is always fun to work with.”

In 2016, Snoop Dogg also broke down their relationship in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“I’ve never met anyone like Martha Stewart,” he said to Rolling Stone. “When we come together, it’s a natural combination of love, peace and harmony.”

Now, they’ve joined forces again after assessing the landscape for functional accessories.

Together, they aim to add their own flare to the trend through Best Buds Bags, which sold out within 48 hours during its fall 2023 release, per Forbes.

“It’s no secret that Snoop and I need a lighter for many activities so when BIC approached us for this project, it was an easy yes,” she said to Forbes. “Why not make lighters and a fashion statement together?”

Designed for anyone who uses a lighter, the limited-edition crossbody bag features small-sized pockets created to incorporate BIC EZ Reach Lighter latches, allowing the product to also serve as another way to open the bag, thus (hopefully), preventing the loss of lighters for consumers.

“This bag’s got it all. From my favorite lighter, favorite color, and dime-sized secret pockets to stash my favorite herbs,” said Snoop Dogg, according to a report from SI Lifestyle.

There’s more on the way, as Stewart tells Forbes the bags are simply a prelude to another upcoming BIC EZ Reach Lighters collection set to release in early 2024.
