Society would want us to believe that it is not “manly” to cry. Whatever that antiquated notion is supposed to mean holds no real value. Human beings, no matter how they identify, are emotional beings. So whether it’s due to anger, sadness, shock, or pure joy — crying is a normal healthy behavior that should be embraced, not shamed.

Rapper and podcast host Gillie Da King held back no tears at what seems to be the signing of a new, lucrative contract alongside his cousin and co-host, Wallo, for their show Million Dollaz Worth of Game.

Gillie and Wallo are the hosts of the popular show Million Dollaz Worth of Game. In 2020, the two signed a deal with Barstool Sports, a sports and culture website. Hip Hop Overload said that deal was worth $3 million in exchange for a 50 percent ownership stake in the show.

That contract has been extended as both hosts shared emotional responses to their Instagram pages.

Gillie was so taken aback that signing the deal brought him to tears. In his caption, he explained his emotions with a straightforward message.

“@barstoolsports 💙💪🏾 @wallo267 4Ever,” Gillie wrote on the post.

With Rick Ross’ “Rich Forever” playing in the background, Gillie set the tone for people to speculate that the new contract is massive.

Gillie’s cousin and co-host shared an equally emotional post through a reel that chronicled the two’s personal journey. In his post, he thanked supporters and noted a promising future.

“Good Morning everyone. From the bottom of my heart I want to thank all of y’all for being a part of my journey. 🙏🏾💪🏾cuz @gilliedaking WE DIT IT!,” Wallo wrote in his Instagram post.

With Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” as the backdrop for Wallo’s reel, the two are equally as excited about their new deal with Barstool Sports.

Barstool Sports nor Million Dollaz Worth of Game have made an official announcement with any details, but from what the world has witnessed — significant congratulations are in order.
