Migos star Takeoff is quite literally trying to take off into space and he’s hoping to bring a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) owner along for the ride.

An Instagram post on Tuesday, Dec. 2 revealed the Migos star will be launching his first NFT collection Apes In Space. Pre-sale begins Dec. 5 with 2,000 spots available for whitelisted members, and a public sale will begin shortly after on Dec. 6, according to the official Apes In Space website.

“The Apes In Space team has years of experience in the marketing and digital space under its belt,” the project’s website reads. “With Takeoff (1/3 of Migos) as part of the team, the Apes In Space project has more connections in the NFT space than any other collection.”

“We spent months crafting the art of the project and we couldn’t be happier with the final result,” it continued.

The Apes In Space Offers Many Perks For Collectors

The Apes In Space collection will be like no other. Not only will the project mark a groundbreaking crossover in space, but the project will offer collectors additional benefits such as four tickets to watch the Migos in concert, which will be given to two NFT collectors. There will also be a chance to receive $25,000 USD in Ethereum after the project reaches 500 Ethereum in secondary sales.

For holders who don’t earn the lucky prizes, the company website reveals they can look forward to acquiring a stake with their NFT token in exchange for a “$TKOFF” token. The native token will allow users to enjoy exclusive future benefits.

Once tokens sell out, users can also purchase a piece of land in the Sandbox, which will eventually house the first Hip-Hop festival in the Metaverse. According to the company website, land buyers will own 69 percent off of one full square of land.

The Apes in Space project innovation is only the beginning, as the project aims to become a top IP in the Metaverse. Users can expect to see more surprises in the coming months.
