Florida athletes can expect to receive support off the playing field through a new partnership with MarketPryce and Rising Spear.
According to a press release MarketPryce and Rising Spear have launched a name, image, and likeness (NIL) initiative to support student-athletes attending Florida State University.
“Rising Spear’s commitment to the State of Florida is to provide all student-athletes with access to the MarketPryce platform at no cost and to ensure that 100% of the funds generated through this partnership go to Rising Spear athletes,” said co-founder of Rising Spear and former treasurer of the Seminole Boosters Executive Board Alan Flaumenhaft in a press release, according to Tallahassee Democrat.
Partnership Aims To Create More NIL Deals
MarketPryce will become a communication line for Rising Spear student-athletes, nationally recognized brands, and small businesses in Tallahassee. The partnership hopes to encourage more businesses to bolster their brands by working with star FSU athletes, laying the groundwork for additional opportunities within the NIL arena.
“Thanks to our partnership with Rising Spear, Florida State student-athletes will have unlimited access to the best NIL opportunities in the country,” said MarketPryce CEO Jason Bergman in a press release, according to Tallahassee Democrat.
MarketPryce Will Be Free For FSU Athletes
Rising Spear co-founders Alan Flaumenhaft and Bob Davis reveal FSU student-athletes are welcome to download and use the MarketPryce free of cost. Through the application, players can connect with countless brands already on the hunt to secure sponsorship deals. What’s more, athletes will be encouraged to expand their influence and find community with other athletes thanks to MarketPryce’s strategy team.
