Dr. Quoadarrious “Q” Toney is not your average dentist. After gaining notoriety as the man behind Memphis, TN, emcee GloRilla’s pearly whites, the young professional will officially open the doors to his own practice in Atlanta, GA.

Partnering with fellow dentists, Dr. David Motoban and Dr. Jessica Davis, Dr. Q and his team aim to “deliver an inclusive solution to addressing healthcare stigmas within the Black community through their joint dental practice, Art of Aesthetics (AOA).”

Commitment To Quality

As a comfort-first facility, AOA is committed to enhancing the dental experience for its patients.

Housed in a city that has been dubbed a “Black Mecca,” AOA is bringing a new look to dental hygiene too. Not only promoting equal access to high-quality dental care, the 1,826-square foot facility includes amenities such as Airpod Max headphones, comfortable blankets, and various television shows and musical choices that patients can partake in to help lessen the anxiety that can come with dental procedures.

Making History

What’s more, thanks to the joint venture with Dr. Motoban and Dr. Davis, Dr. Q will make history as the youngest Black man to have ownership in a private dental practice. The magnitude of this feat is huge as a study led by the American Dental Association in 2022 reported that Black people made up only 3.8% of dentists across the nation.

“I want to help people fall in love with their smiles, and I knew I could have a passion for this every day,” Dr. Q said in an official press release. “I can create treatment plans that give patients a say in their care and how they see themselves.”

The official grand opening for AOA will take place in Atlanta’s Brookhaven neighborhood Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023.
