Lil Uzi Vert is known in the industry for being an animated rapper, and now he’s brought literal meaning to that in a new collaboration.

As a fan of cartoons himself, the Philly rapper has joined WEBTOON for its successful digital webcomic “unOrdinary,” which makes him the first rap artist to join the platform, according to information shared with AfroTech.

Episode 248 Features Lil Uzi Vert

According to Complex, Episode 248 follows the characters John and Sera as they try to deal with the tension surrounding an impending conflict. They visit an amusement park to ease their nerves before addressing the issue head-on. At the end of the episode, the duo attends a Lil Uzi Vert concert, where “Demon High” begins to play while readers scroll through the panels of the webcomic.

From Music To Multiple Ventures

Lil Uzi has made a name for himself since taking the rap scene by storm and becoming one of its top-paid rappers.

While his touring, album sales, and merchandise sales have been what brings in the majority of his cash flow, he’s also found ventures other than music gigs to add to his net worth.

As previously reported by AfroTech, Lil Uzi is one of today’s celebrities that have gravitated toward cryptocurrency. He even reportedly bought his girlfriend JT of the City Girls a McLaren for her birthday in Ethereum.

Along with the digital space, the crypto user is also into the fashion world. When taking a look at his photos, you can often catch him sporting some of today’s sought after designers.

According to HipHopDX, Lil Uzi took his passion and began working with Human Made — the clothing brand founded by NIGO. The Japanese designer has worked with Pharrell, Kanye West, and Kanye West. Previews of the collaboration were shared in August 2021, but it has yet to be released.
