Angel Reese just gave her haters one more thing to be upset about.

The Price Just Went Up

According to On3 Sports, the Louisiana State University (LSU) women’s basketball superstar now has a name, image, and likeness (NIL) valuation of $1.3 million.

As previously reported by AfroTech, Reese allegedly holds the title of having the most NIL deals of both college men’s and women’s basketball players.

Historic NIL Deals

Prior to her team’s national championship win, Reese had 17 partnerships under her belt with brands such as Coach, Amazon, JanSport, Wingstop, McDonald’s, Raising Canes, and more.

Experts anticipate that the number of NIL deals she has will continue to increase over time.

“We fully expect her to be bringing in more deals coming after this,” Bob Lynch, founder and CEO of SponsorUnited, told Forbes. “She’s a businesswoman as well as anything else. Every kid growing up right now who follows her is watching her, not only seeing her perform in basketball but seeing her do endorsement deals.”

Looking Ahead To The Future

According to On3 Sports, Reese is the “highest projected earner in all of Women’s College Basketball.” She has also gained more than 2 million followers across her social media platforms since March Madness began.

The "Double Double Queen"

Fans have dubbed her “Double Double Queen” because she is known to score both double-digit points and double-digit rebounds during game time. What’s more, Reese has an infectious personality and unique approach to the sport.

“I can see the positive,” she said during an appearance on the “I Am Athlete” podcast. “All the attention that the women’s basketball is getting because this whole year I’ve gotten nothing but a lot of support and so many people saying ‘I turned the basketball game on because I wanted to see your team. You guys have brought me to watch women’s basketball.'”
