Kanye West is known for not sticking to the norms, and it was no different when he opted to release “Donda 2” on his Stem Player.

The device was created in collaboration with Kano Computing. The British technology company is led by Alex Klein, who recently weighed in on whether his partnership with West would be in jeopardy.

The discussion follows the growing controversy surrounding the rapper, who has remained a topic of discussion of late, due to a slew of unsettling comments that included antisemitic statements.

West has since lost lucrative partnerships that include Gap and adidas, as AfroTech previously mentioned.

Will Klein Part Ways With West?

While on Discord, Klein was asked if he would be the next partner to break ties with West.

“I don’t believe in that,” Klein said, according to Showbiz411.

Why “Donda 2” Will Remain On Stem Player

“Donda 2” will still be available for listeners on the Stem Player. Klein’s decision is led by the fact West’s antisemitic statements are not echoed on the project.

“There’s nothing on it that’s antisemitic,” Klein explained, according to Showbiz411.

No tolerance for hate speech: Klein also stated he does not stand for hate speech. However, he admits working with West would be difficult at the moment, but it isn’t out of the equation.

Working With West Is Not Out Of The Equation

“I mean you know I still care about Ye I don’t want him to I pray for you and I pray I pray that we can meet again in fellowship and and I’II pray that he is given a spirit of warmth and kindness that I know hes been given before and it’s given that the correct information because good engineering is about having correct information and acting upon it and mine is only as good as the information it receives but you know at the end of the day as long as what’s flowing through Ye is is hatred towards a particular ethnic group and if that’s such a major racial enough that focus of his work it’s gonna be very hard for us to collaborate creatively because that’s just not what I feel and we know we feel it’s a company,” Klein said, according to Showbiz411.
