Grab a cup because this tea is amazing!

Quentin Vennie should be in the running for father of the year after creating a unique tea brand to help his son’s battle with severe ADHD, reports Face2Face Africa.

After a neurologist recommended alternatives like meditation and tea to help his son Jayden with his condition, they hopped right on it. However, one thing they weren’t prepared for was him rejecting the tea due to its taste.

Instead of giving up and relying solely on what was on the market (which was just a boring green tea), Vennie decided to create a special blend for his son.  After it was a hit in their household, he knew it would be the perfect business venture to help others who may be suffering.

“I wanted to create something that was more palatable for him, and once I realized that it actually worked for him, I felt it was necessary to make it accessible to the public,” said Vennie.

Not your ordinary cup of tea, this special formula truly helped Jayden defeat his struggles with concentrating in school. He managed to not only complete a whole semester, but get honor roll — something he had struggled with for years.

“For the first time in his life, he just completed his first semester in the sixth-grade online nonetheless, and he’s on the honor roll,” Vennie told CBS Baltimore.

No strangers to entrepreneurship, the Greenhouse Tea Company is located in northwest Baltimore under the family’s existing brand, Our Human Home.

With the help of his wife, Erin, Vennie’s startup offers eight different tea blends that each have unique health benefits.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic throwing a hurdle in their original plans, the company found it to instead be a blessing in disguise. Business has been booming even though operations began a little under a month ago.

Not only has the blend of herbal teas helped Jayden, but Vennie, who has struggled with anxiety and prescription drug addiction for years also found the teas to be helpful.

The Greenhouse Tea Company has even grasped the attention of familiar names like Tia Mowry and Gwyneth Paltrow who both say they love the tea blend.

“I was blessed and fortunate enough to get connected to Tia Mowry from ‘Sister, Sister’ and she loves [the blend] ‘awaken’ which is the same tea my son loves as well,” said Vennie, according to CBS Baltimore. “Gwyneth Paltrow, she’s [also] a big fan.”
