The UPS Foundation recently announced it would be awarding more than $10M in grants in order to promote and advance diversity and inclusion programs in 2018. These programs will be focused on economic empowerment, education and scholarships, work training and social and gender equality and will be given to 44 organizations, according to a press release . These grants will support diversity and inclusion of different cultures, ethnicities and genders. The grant and partnership the UPS will have with the International Trade Center will center around the creation of a Women’s Exporter Program, which will be training thousands of women in cross-border trading. Other organizations that were awarded cover a wide range of diverse groups. For example, ACCION International will be able to provide micro-loans to Nigerian women who have participated in the UPS Women’s Exporter program and SheTrades.
