Lizzo bares it all for her latest partnership with Dove to send a moving message about self-confidence. Glossy reports that the Grammy-winning singer and queen of body-positivity teamed up with the beauty brand for its ongoing Self Esteem Project — a campaign that aims to “transform social media into a more positive and empowering place for the next generation,” according to the brand. The ongoing brand campaign acts as a platform to encourage parents to have the “selfie talk” with their children by advising them to use social media in a way that doesn’t negatively impact their mental health. According to research for Dove’s 2020 Self-Esteem Project, “80% of girls have already applied a filter or used an app to change the way they look in their photos by the time they are 13,” Black Enterprise reports.
