Zendaya has never been one to shy away from stealing the show with fierce red carpet looks. In a previous interview with British Vogue, the actor’s stylist Law Roach shared that he has been executing a long-term plan to evolve her image from sweet princess to Gen-Z trailblazer.

According to Klarna, there was a 125 percent increase in searches for yellow dresses after Zendaya’s Oscars red carpet look.

The leading all-in-one shopping service — that has more than 15+ million U.S. users — shared that the look brought to us by none other than the genius, Law Roach, has turned into a viral sensation which in turn ran the clicks up on shopping websites.

Although it may just seem like a coincidence, the reports confirm that it was indeed the dress that jumpstarted the shopping frenzy because no other yellow apparel items saw an increase in searches other than dresses.

From Nicki Minaj and her crocs to Zendaya and her stunning red carpet looks, it looks like the celebrity influencer market just might continue to be the way to generate sales for companies in the future.
