The marathon continues with another brand collaboration.
Nipsey Hussle’s prolific legacy continues to live on through his staple clothing brand, The Marathon Clothing, which just announced that it has once again joined forces with PUMA to unveil their latest collection.
According to Hypebeast, the new collection — which includes a crisp PUMA Suede sneaker and a special t-shirt — was “crafted to represent Hussle’s enduring spirit and legacy.”
The collection also features a plethora of gold foil embellishments of The Marathon Clothing’s logo as well as a tag explaining the brand’s lengthy mission statement and intention as a company.

Two years since Hussle’s passing, The Marathon Clothing and PUMA have worked hard to keep his name alive with multiple capsule collections released in September 2019, February 2020 and September 2020, as reported by Hypebeast.
Even before Hussle passed away, the two brands were frequent collaborators with each other, as the late rapper inked a deal with PUMA just a year before his fatal shooting.
Outside of his brand’s dealings, Hussle was considered an extremely influential figure in his community and around the world for his many power moves and wealth of knowledge he made sure to spread.
His gift of being both a self-made entrepreneur and a leader in addition to his rap career made him stand out from his peers, and is the reason his brand has become such a coveted staple in our culture.
“Being self-made means never making an excuse as to why you can’t take steps toward whatever your goal is,” he once said. “There’s always something you can do. You may not always have the necessary tools and resources, but you always have something.”
The Marathon Clothing represents a large part of Hussle’s values as a businessman, and will only continue to grow as time goes on.
The latest Marathon Clothing and PUMA collection is set the drop Friday, May 7.
