Nick Cannon is a man of many talents and now he’s adding daytime talk show to his repertoire.
The multi-talented entertainer is set to make his big debut in the daytime television world with his self-titled show premiering on Sept. 21.
“It’s been thrilling going through this process, and to see the widespread support that the show has received and the milestones we’ve achieved is mind-blowing,” Cannon said in a statement. “We’re gearing up to deliver a must-see show and I’m looking forward to coming to you on your TV this fall.”
According to Deadline, the new nationally-syndicated talk show will air in more than 90 percent of the United States and has been cleared on prominent stations like FOX, CBS, Sinclair, Hearst, Nexstar, Mission, COX, Sunbeam, Capitol, Meredith, Tegna, Lockwood, Gray, and CW Plus.
“Clearances are climbing because our great station partners are hungry for a rising, versatile and dynamic talent like Nick. His light-hearted style quickly wins over viewers and gives them a much-needed escape from the world,” Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus, co-presidents of Debmar-Mercury and the show’s distributor, said in a press release.
Cannon will join the ranks of other daytime talk shows like “The Tamron Hall Show,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and more.
As the face of the show, Cannon will tackle the latest news in pop culture and feature celebrity interviews.
Cannon has had a long-standing career in the entertainment industry as a radio show host, comedian, actor, producer, rapper, writer, director, philanthropist, children’s book author, and activist as well as the host of his variety-themed show, “Wild N’ Out” and FOX’s “The Masked Singer.” He also recently announced the completion of Nipsey Hussle’s Dr. Sebi documentary.
