Entrepreneur Marvina Thomas is making her presence known in the cannabis space.
Thomas leads Fourtwenty Collections, a cannabis company in Arizona that launched with solely one product, a bar of CBD-infused soap, then scaled to include CBD skincare, along with THC and CBD-infused edibles.
“I founded my business with a bar of soap to help a friend with a skin condition. To this day, I make it my mission to help others, and that has been the key to my personal and professional success,” Thomas explained in a news release.
Thomas is now celebrating becoming a multi-state operator as the company has acquired a medical dispensary license in Safford, AZ. She is adding to her portfolio, which includes a licensed dispensary and manufacturing facility in Las Cruces, NM.
“We are excited to inspire others to reach for the stars and have made history with our acquisition of the Safford license. We look forward to becoming a part of the community there,” said Thomas in a news release.
What’s more, Thomas is the first Black woman to own an Arizona dispensary.
“It has always been my dream to become the first Black, women owned, Arizona dispensary. We are excited to inspire others to reach for the stars and have made history with our acquisition of the Safford license. We look forward to becoming a part of the community there,” she expressed in a news release.
Thomas supports the operations out of her pocket. She also invests in her nonprofit, Start Living Inc., dedicated to helping people overcome addictions and integrate into society.
