LeBron James is not letting up. The NBA superstar has his sights on someday owning his own NBA team.

During a recent episode of “The Shop,” the LA Laker revealed that when he does decide to leave the game, he looks forward to owning his own team.

LeBron James On His NBA Dream

“I wanna own a team, I wanna buy a team for sure,” said the 37-year-old, according to Complex. “I would rather own a team before I talk. I wanna, yeah. I want a team in Vegas. I want the team in Vegas.”

Making Money Moves

This is not the Ohio native’s first time expressing his desire to own a team once he relinquishes ownership of the court.

“I’ve always said that my goal was to own a team, own an NBA team,” he said in a previous post-game interview. “I’ve got so much to give to the game. I know what it takes to win at this level. I know talent. I also know how to run a business as well and so that is my goal.”

In true James fashion, whenever he sets a goal, there is no stopping him. More recently, he manifested his desire to become a billionaire thanks to his accomplishments both on and off the court.

Billionaire Bron

As previously reported by AfroTech, James is now the first active player in the league to reach billionaire status. Just as the Akron, Ohio native spoke the accomplishment into existence, time will tell if he manifests his future NBA team.

Earlier this year he was among the list of highest-paid athletes in the world alongside fellow NBA players Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Currently, Sin City does not have its own NBA franchise, however, rumors have circulated that the league has considered expanding into the city at some point. Another popular location that they are considering immersing in the league is Seattle, Washington.
