Kai Cenat is clearly the one to watch on Twitch.

In The Know reports Cenat has reached 200,000 subscribers on Twitch, making him only the third streamer to do so. He is also reportedly the first Black Twitch streamer to reach this milestone.

“200K SUBS BRO I LOVE EACH AND EVERYBODY WHO SUPPORT ME THROUGH OUT THIS WHOLE JOURNEY THESE PAST DAYS BEEN SO TUFF BUT I WILL NEVER GIVE UP. GOING FOR #1,” Cenat wrote in a celebratory post shared on Twitter.

Cenat shared the news on Feb. 21, and since then his subscriber count has already scaled to 250,000.

At a minimum, assuming users are paying at least $4.99, this means Cenat is bringing in an estimated $247,500 per month. The Verge reports a “majority” of streamers receive half of the earnings, while the other half goes to Twitch. On the other hand, there are streamers who have a premium subscription, which means they have a 70 / 30 revenue split.

Note: According to its website, “There are multiple tiers available to subscribers that want to provide additional levels of support by raising the rate to $9.99 or $24.99 a month.”

Cenat started making strides in the digital space on YouTube around 2018 and went viral for his “ding dong ditch” videos.

In 2021, he joined Twitch and started growing his platform by playing games, including Grand Theft Auto and Fortnite, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In The Know reported that his success can also be credited to him being a founder of the group Any Means Possible, which is composed of six creators that help boost visibility to each other’s platforms.

The latest news surrounding Cenat comes during a 30-day marathon, as he has committed to stream 24 hours a day until March 2. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first day of the marathon drew 6.4 million unique viewers who watched 683 million minutes. In addition, Cenat’s account can be credited for 2.5 percent of the total hours watched on Twitch in the past two weeks.

What’s more, he is now represented by UTA in all areas, joining other creators like Kris “Swagg” Lamberson and more, per The Hollywood Reporter.
