This Louisiana high school senior will be on to bigger and better things!

Kassidy Parnell attends Tara High School in Baton Rouge and shines with a GPA of 4.1. The impressive feat has placed Parnell at the top of the graduating class. Parnell is also dual-enrolled in computer science classes at Baton Rouge Community College. Her track record has caught the attention of various schools, securing over 100 college offers to date and collecting nearly $4.5 million in scholarships, WKBN 27 reports.

Parnell’s acceptances include Southern University, Saint Louis University, Butler, Oklahoma State, Marquette, Seton Hall University, Loyola University Chicago, University of Kansas, Kent State University, and more.

“This girl is a hard worker, loyal friend, organized, witty and makes good decisions,” said Lorenzo Bynum, Kassidy’s father, according to WKBN 27. “She loves to learn new things. If she doesn’t know something she will look it up and remember everything about it. She is not afraid to explore new horizons and takes pride in her school and the work she does for IBM. She really makes our job easy as parents.”

College Acceptances and Scholarship Offers

As a proud parent, Bynum is tracking each college acceptance letter and various scholarship offers through an excel spreadsheet. Parnell has scored academic and merit scholarships, four full-ride scholarships, and 13 Presidential Scholarships.

With hundreds of options and climbing, Parnell will have a lot to consider over the coming months. To help with her decision, Parnell visits college campuses alongside her family on the weekends to hopefully find her perfect match.

Parnell is set to graduate from Tara High School on May 18.
