The City Girls are here to stay, whether their haters like it or not.
In a recent report for Rolling Stone, it was revealed that Summer Walker was enlisting the aid of JT for her newest album, “Still Over It.” The outlet confirms that in the teaser video for the album — which is set to drop in November 2021 — Walker is featured on the phone with JT. While arguably controversial, it’s also just in the City Girls style to flip a negative into a positive (since the video was dated two years ago, it’s meant to imply that it was recorded during JT’s incarceration).
Since they first burst onto the mixtape scene in 2017, JT (born Jatavia Shakara Johnson) and Yung Miami (born Caresha Romeka Brownlee) have been making waves everywhere they go. They’ve certainly come a long way from their humble beginnings — born and raised in poverty, JT and Yung Miami worked in fast-food joints and Whole Foods Market before making it big.
From appearances on hit songs (Drake’s “In My Feelings) to full-fledged businesses, the Florida natives are far from a one-hit-wonder or a flash in the pan. If anything, they’ve proven themselves to be savvy business women with net worths that are only growing by the minute. Recently, too, they added to their respective net worths with their clothing collaborations. According to Billboard, they teamed up with online retailer BooHoo in March 2021 to launch a clothing capsule collection; just one month later, HipHopDX reported that the City Girls teamed up with IconSwim to launch their own bathing suit line.

Let’s break down what we know about the City Girls, their businesses and net worths.
Editorial Note: The net worths listed in this piece are a speculative estimate drawn from various online sources.
What Is JT Of The City Girls' Net Worth?
According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, JT of the City Girls has a net worth of $1.5 million. According to the outlet, JT’s net worth mostly comes from the group’s high appearance fees: they charge $40,000 for TV appearances, and $15,000 for nightclub appearances (live performances are, presumably, more).
What Is Yung Miami Of The City Girls' Net Worth?
According to the same outlet, Yung Miami of the City Girls has a similar net worth to her groupmate: namely, $1.5 million. But in an interview with The Fader, Yung Miami revealed that while JT was in prison for credit card fraud, it was up to her to carry the weight of the group’s success. For that reason, she said, it was impossible to bring the City Girls where they needed to be until JT’s release. However, now that JT is out, there seems to be no stopping them.
JT's Business Ventures
In October 2019, JT was gifted with an iced-out French fries chain from McDonald’s, according to Billboard. The outlet reports that JT was the “unofficial spokesperson” of the brand. However, they haven’t been gifted with an endorsement deal from the fast-food chain yet, as of this writing.
But JT needn’t worry quite yet about getting an endorsement deal from Mickey D’s. According to Complex, she has other business ventures that are constantly in development — most recently, those business ventures include the creation of a capsule with Heather Sanders’ Sorella Boutique.
Yung Miami's Business Ventures
Before becoming a rapper, Yung Miami was an Instagram influencer who promoted a lot of brands on her page. In an interview with Vulture, Yung Miami said that she felt she “scammed” her way into a rap career.
Scamming (or not) aside, Yung Miami has a few business ventures of her own. She has her own line of wigs called the Caresha Collection, which also sells clothes and shoes.
