While female rap unity is currently scarce, Cardi B and GloRilla’s latest feat is a reminder that there’s always strength in numbers — both figuratively and literally.
Unity In Hip-Hop Still Exists
The rappers took the Internet and music charts by storm after dropping their collaboration, “Tomorrow 2.”

Last week, the single debuted at No. 9 on Billboard’s Hot 100 — marking GloRilla’s first top 10 record.
GloRilla's First Top 10 Hit
“Shout out to my motherf-cking cousin Cardi B,” the Memphis rapper said in an Instagram video. “Shout out Bardi Gang. Shout to the GloRidaz. Shout out to everybody that supported our song and got us up there. Just feeling super blessed. I just thank y’all. And let’s run it up to No.1.”
Along with being GloRilla’s first top 10 and top 40 hit, the song is Cardi’s 11th Hot 100 Top 10 hit.
Additionally, “Tomorrow 2” secured a top three spot on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Taking Over TikTok
In addition to the music video trending, content creators quickly picked up on using the hit in their TikToks. As of this writing, “Tomorrow 2” has been used in over 125,000 videos on the social media giant.
The duo is dominating on TikTok, but it’s not their first instance of doing so. According to TikTok Treats, GloRilla’s “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” (399K+ total creations) and Cardi’s “Up” (3.1M+ total creations).
As previously reported by AfroTech, GloRilla has been elevating her artistry since “F.N.F. (Let’s Go) took off in April. The rising star signed to Yo Gotti’s CMG imprint in July.
“It’s one of the quickest rises that I’ve seen in my career, because she only dropped in late April and now she has the hottest cultural records in music,” he told Billboard. “She has a different sound and approach that’s needed in hip-hop right now.”
