Anderson .Paak is preparing to release his third collection with Vans. It will be the musician’s first collaboration since taking on the role as the first-ever global music ambassador for the company.

The “Vanderson Collection” includes t-shirts, sneakers similar to the EPack Sport, apparel, and other accessories that are hand-selected by Anderson.

“Vans was super patient with me on this one,” said the Silk Sonic crooner in an official statement. “We met every week in Malibu and designed these shoes in the California sunshine. This is my best drop yet and I’m so proud of what we’ve come up with.”

The Inspiration Behind The Collection

Anderson credits “heritage, creativity, and uplifting the community” as the inspiration behind the brand new collection with Vans. It is his third collaboration with the brand, which is known as a leader in the action sports footwear industry.

“We are beyond excited to continue this creative journey with AP into this next product collaboration,” Vans’ Director of Global Music Marketing, Tierney Stout, said. “Anderson was incredibly hands-on in the design and development of every piece in this collection.”

Keeping It In The Family

With all hands on deck, Anderson also directed the campaign to showcase the collection, which features members of his family including his son and niece. “Black-ish” star Marsai Martin also makes an appearance in the advertisement.

“I put my heart and soul into this drop (literally)! Can’t wait to see it on you and your beautiful families,” said the “Leave the Door Open” singer via an Instagram post.

The capsule will be available to the public on June 24 and features sizes made for adults, kids, and toddlers.
