It’s official! 50 Cent has found his new TV home.

As AfroTech previously mentioned, the “Power” franchisee made his exit from STARZ and was already arranging for the transition of his production company G-Unit Film & Television.

“This is my vibe right now! STARZ deal done, we had nothing but success so no hard feelings,” 50 Cent shared in a post on Instagram. “I’m out. I’ll let you know where we are going shortly.”

The wait is over as Variety reports a non-exclusive broadcast direct deal has been cemented between 50 Cent and Fox.

He took to Instagram to revel in the news.

“I don’t miss,” 50 Cent wrote.

Under the deal, 50 Cent will create scripted dramas, live-action comedies, and animated series engineered through G-Unit Film & Television.

Furthermore, projects created as part of the agreement will be produced by Fox Entertainment Studios, in partnership with G-Unit Film & Television, and owned by Fox Entertainment, per Variety.

“I am excited to formalize a partnership with Michael Thorn and Fox that will allow G-Unit Film & Television to focus on putting multiple series on Fox, a perfect broadcast destination for G-Unit Film & Television content while our premium, streaming, scripted and non-scripted slates continue to grow in all directions,” said 50 Cent, according to the outlet.

“Whether it’s music, film or television, Curtis [50 Cent] always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans across the globe,” said Michael Thorn, Fox Entertainment’s president in a statement. “He is the rare multi-hyphenate with a deft hand at storytelling, no matter the format or medium, and we’re looking forward to developing new and exciting series for Fox with him and his team.”

50 Cent joins a growing list of filmmakers, including Rodney Rothman, Adam Rosenberg, Carol Mendelsohn, and Julie Weitz, who are celebrating a new deal with the broadcast television network.
