It’s no secret that ownership is the ultimate goal for creators. Now, 50 Cent is making it clear as he’s shared that he has joined the club.

Hints For What's After STARZ

As previously shared by AfroTech, the mogul announced that his last day under his STARZ deal was Sept. 17. Around the same time as the announcement came out, it was reported that 50 Cent was already on to his next move.

According to trademark attorney Josh Gerben, he filed multiple trademarks under his NYC Vibe, LLC, which included him possibly producing TV shows, documentaries, and movies. In addition to the production and distribution, the filings suggest that 50 Cent is possibly set to open bars and restaurants, launch an online casino, and organize sports competitions and events.

50 Cent On His Departure

“This is my vibe right now! STARZ deal done, we had nothing but success so no hard feelings,” he wrote in an Instagram caption. “I’m out. I’ll let you know where we are going shortly.”

The Celebration Continues

On the official day of his departure, 50 Cent went more into detail about why it was such a celebratory day for him.

“09-17-22 official day of really owning my content & deciding where and how i do it moving forward!!! GLG GreenLightGang bulls eye we don’t miss,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

Further Speculation

Deadline reports that 50 Cent could possibly be “entertaining multiple offers from streamers and studios for his G-Unit Film & Television, whose current slate includes 25 series in production and projects in development.”

The announcement of his new TV home is well underway.

In The Meantime

50 Cent continues to unravel his plans on his social media, so AfroTech will stay tuned to report on what comes next.

While the news awaits, the STARZ empire he built is flourishing including the premiere of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” the production of the second season of “Power Book IV: Force” and “BMF,” and the third season of “Raising Kanan” — which are all executive produced by 50 Cent. What’s more, the third season of “Power Book II: Ghost” is expected to release on the network “soon-ish.”
