It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we are not talking about Christmas. The world is in the middle of Amazon Prime Day, and packages are being shipped out like an Oprah giveaway — everyone gets a box!

However, in good AfroTech fashion, Amazon Prime Day is an opportunity to support all Black-owned businesses and brands. As a company, Amazon has been intentional with its support of Black-owned businesses.

As a part of its support over the last several years, the e-commerce giant has amplified the voices of Black business owners by creating a landing page for consumers to navigate.

We took some time to navigate through all of the brands created by Black people, and we found some dope stuff. From beauty brands to cooking essentials, there is literally something for everyone during this “prime” shopping season.

Blk & Bold

 

Founded by Pernell Cezar, Jr. and Rod Johnson, the specialty beverage brand was created to unite coffee and tea lovers worldwide through a common interest in investing in the community, specifically for the youth. Five percent of all proceeds go toward non-profit organizations focusing on youth.

Black Card Revoked

 

A game for the culturally curious, Black Card Revoke makes game night a little bit more interesting. With several versions of the card game, there is something for everyone to tap into.

Orijin Bees

 

Children need representation in the toys they play with, and Orijin Bees has the Black Girl Magic on full display with the doll collection. They offer a range of multi-cultural dolls with various skin complexions and hair textures, with curl patterns ranging from 3a to 4c.

Partake Foods

 

Founder Denise Woodard set out to make sure her daughter could navigate the beauty of food despite her recent diagnosis with specific food allergies. Since its inception in 2016, Partake offers snacks and treats that are certified gluten-free, non-GMO, vegan, and free of the top nine allergens (wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, soy, fish, sesame, and shellfish).
