What a year for Kai Cenat!

The New York native who dropped out of college to pursue his dreams has established himself as one of today’s most influential streamers and content creators. On Twitch, he currently boasts 13.5 million followers, and in June 2024, he secured the highest North American viewership record on Twitch, reaching a peak of 712,600 simultaneous viewers, as AFROTECH™ previously reported. The record-breaking stream featured comedians Kevin Hart and Druski with LeBron James appearing on a FaceTime call.

Most recently, Cenat announced to his fanbase that he will be streaming for 30 days straight, beginning Nov. 1, 2024, in a promotional clip that featured Kim Kardashian.

Cenat is a member of AMP (Any Means Possible), a YouTube group that includes Fanum (Roberto Escanio), Duke Dennis (Denzel Dennis), ChrisNxtDoor (Christopher Dimbo), Agent00 (Din Muktar), and ImDavisss (Davis Dodds). Fanum selected him to join the group, recognizing his potential to contribute to their dynamic.

“The transition from before joining AMP to joining AMP was crazy in terms of fan base,” Cenat said in a 2021 interview with Peer to Peer Clips.

AMP and Cenat are transforming the landscape of content creation and streaming, establishing a well-respected business blueprint. In 2024, Cenat landed a major partnership with McDonald’s to launch his own meal, the Chicken Big Mac.

Adding to Kai Cenat’s impressive list of partnerships, he teamed up with the NBA to launch its most ambitious Creator Cup Series to date, which kicked off during the highly anticipated season opener between the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics on Oct. 22, 2024, according to a news release.

“Creators are a key part of the NBA’s content ecosystem, helping us connect with new audiences in innovative ways,” said Bob Carney, NBA senior vice president of social and digital content, per the news release. “We have experienced remarkable growth with our creator program since it launched in 2016, and we can’t wait to see what this season brings.”

Cenat’s 2024 wins also include a Nike deal, making him the first streamer to join the footwear company, according to Complex. He has even reportedly signed a multi-million-dollar deal with Rumble for a show involving popular streamer iShowSpeed, Forbes reported.

With 48.7 million followers across social platforms, Cenat is earning big — not just from his content but also through an expanding lineup of ventures. Ranked No. 24 on Forbes’s 2024 Top Creators list, he’s pulled in $8.5 million so far this year, as of Oct. 28, 2024.
