DaBaby lost out on millions of dollars after a Rolling Loud performance.

What happened: As AfroTech previously told you, the “Suge” rapper faced backlash following his remarks about HIV/AIDS during the Miami festival. He was soon labeled as homophobic for his comments geared toward the LGBTQ+ community.

At the time, DaBaby showed no signs of remorse for his comments, but now he is looking to take accountability for his actions.

“I take accountability for everything, every single bit of it. You get what I’m saying at the end of the day, but most importantly knowing on hindsight, when you get to a certain level in this business, you held accountable for different levels of things,” he said during an interview with Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning.”

He later added: “With great power, comes great responsibility.”

DaBaby is also owning up to his losses. The same year he made the comments, he was dropped from every concert he was scheduled to perform, including Can’t Wait Live!, Day N Vegas, the Governor’s Ball music festival in New York City, iHeartRadio Music Festival, Music Midtown, and the Parklife Festival.

“…It really cost a n-gga $100 million within a year span, then you know, okay this — this sh-t real,” DaBaby explained.
